Your plan at a glance
Your
one-page strategic plan
Set your vision, name your Big Kahuna for the next twelve months, choose the objectives that move the needle, and map the projects that get you there. All on one page you can pin to the wall.
How it works
Vision: where you want your business to go, and what life looks like when you get there.
Big Kahuna: the one goal that, if you achieved it in the next twelve months, would revolutionise your business.
Strategic objectives: one to three high-payoff activities that get you to your Big Kahuna.
Projects: up to four per objective, each with a start and an end. Every project should be a milestone towards its objective.

Step one
Your vision
What is the long-term vision for your business? Go out as far in the future as you'd like and include as much detail as you can about how life looks when you are living your vision. Your vision is where you want to go. What does life look like when you get there?
Step two
Your Big Kahuna
A goal that, if achieved over the next twelve months, could really revolutionise your business and give you more of your ideal business. It can be a money goal, fewer hours each week, or that new revenue stream you've been wishing for. Kahuna is the Hawaiian word for chief, and your Kahuna vision is your chief vision for the next twelve months.
- Increase my income by 50% in the next twelve months
- Have more than 100 members by 31 December
- Hire a manager so I can step out of the day-to-day
- Move from working 1:1 to working 1:many
- Launch a new course, service, or store by July
Step three
Your strategic objectives and projects
Strategic objectives are high-payoff activities that support you in achieving your Big Kahuna. They don't have to be specific, but the more specific the better. What they do have to be is needle-movers. Choose one to three.
Projects have start dates and end dates, a set of actions, and evidence that they are done. Dialling in your projects and aligning them to your objectives is the most powerful way to get to your goals faster. List up to four for each objective.
Objective: Generate 5,000 new leads this year.
- Project 1: Run an online summit
- Project 2: Create a lead magnet
- Project 3: Run a live in-person event
A second pair of eyes
Before you save, the tool can tidy your wording to fit the one-page plan and point out where the plan could be stronger. Your words always win. It will not rewrite your plan for you.
This is your plan as it stands right now. It updates as you type. Boxes you leave empty stay empty, just like the worksheet.
Every time you save, a new version is kept. Open an earlier plan to see it, or start again from a blank page.
